Hello mudslingers. The dates and details for our Summer School season 2026 are now available for everyone to browse on this website. They are for viewing only up until launch at 7pm on Sunday 14th December 2024, at which point they will be available for booking on a first come first served basis. Some of our Summer courses recurrently book out very quickly, so to avoid disappointment please consider booking promptly on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are delighted that Patia is back on the Summer school schedule after a year sabbatical. She\u2019ll be teaching her ever popular 4\u00bd day Earthenware Slip-decoration<\/a> course which has enriched the making vocabulary of so many visiting students over the years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is very exciting for us to welcome newest member of Wobage Pottery to the 2026 teaching crew, Jem & Pet\u2019s part-time assistant Isabelle Proffitt. Belle will be leading a new 2\u00bd day workshop, ‘Impress & Stretch’<\/a> at the beginning of the season in May, sharing her love of stretched-slab-built porcelain. We can\u2019t wait for this! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeremy teaches three different courses in June and July, all on different themes and course durations to suit varying budget. These are 3\u00bd day \u2018Thrown & Altered\u2019,<\/a> 4\u00bd day \u2018Jars & Lids\u2019<\/a> and finishing up with a 2-day \u2018Up-right!<\/a>\u2019 to advance foundational wheel-throwing skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like last year, booking is now fully automated, with places secured once payment in full is complete via Paypal or online bank transfer. If you are 25 yrs or under, and a Full-time student in Higher Education, or you are within your first year after having graduated, we invite a 20% discount on any of this season\u2019s Summer courses. To secure this voucher, please get in touch via e-mail. You will need to provide evidence of the course that you\u2019ve attended and organise a tutor reference, providing us with a contact e-mail or mobile number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In between Friday and Sunday, each of the five courses will read ‘Out of Stock’. DON’T PANIC! This is just to give everyone a short, quiet window of opportunity to browse the course dates and details, they won’t actually have sold out before we’ve published them!
