\"\"Regular classes at Wobage run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 6.45 – 9.15pm, and also on Tuesday afternoons between 2.15 and 4.45pm, usually for two 10 week blocks per annum. These Spring and Autumn term courses, predominantly in wheel-thrown ceramics are suitable for makers of all levels of ability. Numbers are limited to a maximum of 9 students to ensure sufficient one to one tuition and a power-wheel for each participant. The focus of the classes is with the development of thrown work, along with other related skills such as clay preparation, turning, handling, slip-decoration and raw-glazing. Patia’s earthenware courses often also include some slab\/mould pot-making. 10 week Term fees for Spring \u00a02026 are \u00a3270 for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and \u00a3315 for Tuesday afternoon & Tuesday evening sessions.<\/p>\n

On Tuesdays, Jeremy’s<\/a> students make with stoneware, salt-slips and raw-glaze.\u00a0 Students will be invited to make a selection of approximately 10-12 of their best pots which they will wood-fire and salt-glaze. Each term consists of 9 or 10 evenings or afternoons, and a wood-firing which takes place on a pre-planned weekend.<\/p>\n

On Mondays and Wednesdays, Patia\u2019s<\/a> students make slip-decorated earthenware.<\/p>\n

On Thursdays, Belle’s<\/a> students will be wheel-throwing in white or buff stoneware and their work will be gas-fired in reduction glazes.<\/p>\n

Reservations for each term are made with a deposit, the remaining balance is payable on the first class of term. A charge will be made in addition to the course fee to cover the cost of fired pots. For wood-salt fired pots (Tuesday students) this is \u00a35.50\/lb. Once you have joined a course, students are offered priority of place for the following term should they wish to continue.<\/p>\n
